Wasteful is posting the same bs twice. I drive a 2004 Audi A8L, a 2005 XLRV and just last week took delivery of my bullitt. For those of you counting that is 24 cylinders of planet killing power. I do not care if any of you like that. In fact I will drive the Bullitt a little harder today just for all of you. As to gasoline prices that is all about perspective. Making what I do, I tend to not give them too much thought though my commute is 57 miles one way. Having said that, it cost me over 60 dollars to fuel the XLR and Audi. The cheaper fuel that the Bullitt can run off of cost 35 dollars a tank full. All about perspective. How I do enjoy the freedom of choice and freedom from want. How I do enjoy being an American.

"500 bhp from a 2litre riceeater engine that’s going to need new valves every 3000 miles - or 300 bhp from a 4.6litre engine that’ll probably still be running when you’re getting new rubbers on your zimmer frame? Know which one I’d go for"

Are you sure youre gonna love your beast when gas prices start hitting $4+/gal?

Naw, Id rather go with something a little more functional than obviously over-the-top, try a 250hp 3.2L v6 (AWD, btw) by VW, wow engineer at its non-americanest, aka non-wasteful.
