Following the big hype caused by the spy-shots, Nissan has released the first official images of its highly anticipated 370Z Coupe. These official images confirm what many suspected regarding the design of the new coupe, including the Maxima-inspired headlamps and tail lights. However Nissan has now also indirectly confirmed that the new Z car will use the 3.7-litre VQ37VHR V6 engine by officially referring to the new model as the 370Z for the first time.

Car makers are unveiling drastic cutbacks as the collapse in the new car market accelerates.

Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli has announced plans to slash Chrysler’s white-collar workforce by a quarter between now and the end of the year. Around 4500 jobs will be cut via voluntary redundancies and “buy outs”.

The Genesis Coupe is Hyundai’s new model, designed to refresh the contenents of the sports car market. Altough it’s a sports car, it reminds us the power of a muscle car, but holds it’s true nature of a real sports car. There are two engines available, 210bhp 2.0-litre unit and a 303bhp 3.8-litre V6 and gets a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.
