Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2012

Aston Martin has a new V8 Vantage with a new gearbox, styling tweaks and chassis upgrades, which Aston Martin claims amounts to the  ‘most comprehensive programme of enhancements’ since the 4.7-litre version of the V8 Vantage was launched in 2008. The amazing model will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show.

The standard V8 Vantage is being upgraded with partsseen on the V8 Vantage S which means that the (optional) clunky six-speed Sportshift automated manual gearbox will be replaced by the less clunky but still not perfect at low speeds seven-speed Sportshift II transmission with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

A lower front bumper with a bigger intake and splitter, beefier side sills and a larger rear diffuser with the 420bhp 4.7-litre V8 left untouched are the features that definitely characterize this new model.

As far as the price is concerned, the fans can expected to be high enough since the car is a real piece of collection.
