328: A sport car becoming a legend
Although 326 was nearly launched, on Nurburgring track, on 14th June was presented the new 328. This sport car was a real success to BMW. Shortly after its presentation the car was in top of its class, surpassing its powerful rivals. A 80 hp maximum power and a weight of 830 kg were making this elegant model to develop an impressive power.

In April, 1936 and September 1939 were produced 464 BMW 328 cars. Until 1940 this sport car was participating at 172 national and international races, obtaining 141 victories, many of them being legendary.
335: The King for new highways
At the end of the 30’s, Bayerische Motoren Werke Company, or better said BMW, becoming one of the most prestigious auto producers in Germany. In only 10 years, BMW has succeeded to become from a little producer of regular, small cars, a big producer that can offer a large range of sport performing cars.

At the end of 1937 and the beginning of 1938, BMW decided to follow as an example the 4 doors model (326 models) instead of developing a new berlin. In 1939 was launch 335, a higher version of 326 with a 3.5 litre, 6 line engine. This car was produced to be used on the highway at a high speed. The engine produced 90 hp and a top speed of 145 km/h.

In the same year, was launched also “Gone with the wind” and first TV was presented in Germany, but ended tragic, because on September, 1st Hitler produced the Second World War.
