BMW cars for the future


Two graduates from Romanian industrial design, Andrei Avarvarii and Adrian Vasiliu, have presented a project for construction of a sports car BMW Z0 for the next decade working with hydrogen and has zero emissions of CO2, according auto.cz.
Stocks fuels become increasingly smaller, and their prices have risen. Therefore, the two Romanian deemed ideal for their car would be a 1.6 liter engine and 147 kW (200 HP) to work with hydrogen. Internal combustion engine will have zero emissions of CO2, and the model name here Z0.
BMW Z0 having a weight of 450 kg, can reach 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of around 220 km / h.
The two designers say that such a car could appear on the market over 10 years, because the development of hydrogen engines for serial production will take much more.

30 years and 300,000 BMW-M

The Bavarian mark celebrates 30 years and 300,000 models of famous department “M”. The story of success recorded by BMW M GmbH began with a limited range. In 1978, the company founded six years before BMW Motorsport GmbH, presented a model competition, with six-cylinder engine in line – located central – that would be used in newly founded ProCar competition. The machine – is the legendary model BMW M1 – was made in order to be original version of the series with 277 HP engine. Automobile with two seats, which have become a legend, was the fastest sports car series a German manufacturer. 445 BMW M1 units were produced until 1981, one of them being the Art Car project created by Andy Warhol.

BMW Gina from Textile Material

BMW launched, after teasing a period longer than one month, the concept GINA Light Visionary, a convertible car with two seats and metallic structure made of flexible material covered with fabric. Thus, they allow the car to change shape.
An interesting thing is that the headlights are visible only when they are turn on, at that time the textile material is open, similar to the eye movement.
I believe that BMW has called on textile material as a response to the fact that textiles are produced at very low prices in China. What do you think?
