New Mercedes CLC

Mercedes has finally showed pictures with the newest coupe from its models, the one based on C-Klasse, named CLC. After the teaser presented few weeks ago, Mercedes offered pictures with its completely new coupe, the most accessible from the series.
Named CLC, according to the new politics of choosing names on Mercedes, that say that every coupe must start with “CL”, the model wants to be a dynamic version for C-Klasse.
The front designs don’t offer many changes, because we already know the “C”, but the back is completely new. Big lights, moved on wings, too are a perfect match for the coupe; but it is a shame that Mercedes didn’t offered a special design, because everything looks to traditional. Maybe this is the only bad thing about this model.

Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe spied

Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe was photographed and by a simple watch to the photos I can tell that it has an answer in the form of a coupe model of the latter based on the 101EX concept shown nearly 2 years ago, at Geneva Motor Show.
Few rumors tell that Geneva will serve again for the new model’s debut.
Rolls Royce announced that the car’s manufacture will commence at the Goodwood plant, next summer.
The new coupe comes to complete the Phantom family and will be priced at around £224,000 saloon and £260,000 convertible.
It will have the same 6.8 litre, V12 engine, and 453 hp and 531 lb/ft of torque.
The car will catch 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, that means it is fast, but not ballistic (Phantom has always placed luxury before out and out performance).
Other features, you can see in the photos, like: distinctive rear-hinged doors, the Range Rover style split bootlid/ tailgate, and many more. The interior is expected to be with luxury accommodation for 4 and the finest appointments (as Rolls Royce tradition).
I can wait to see it at Geneva Motor Show, next year.

Want to buy a luxury convertible?

Buying a Convertible is no longer as simple as it used to be. For a start, there are now four quite different market sectors from which to choose, full of products offering quite different recipes for wind-in-the-hair driving pleasure.
You used to know what you were getting from the name. Whereas the ‘Convertible‘ title designated a fully-folding roof, ‘Cabriolets‘ left you with an unsightly rollover hoop once you were open to the elements. Fortunately, these days, stiffer bodies have tended to make such hoops a thing of the past but the ‘Cabriolet‘ tag remains.
Either way, it’s first of all a case of deciding exactly what you want. At entry-level for example, you’ve all the Family Hatchback-based models like the folding metal-top roof CC versions of cars like Ford’s Focus, Renault’s Megane or Vauxhall’s Astra. Next up are Roadsters like Mazda’s MX-5 and Lotus’ Elise, suitable for real enthusiasts or those who want a second (or third) weekend car.
