Chevrolet Beat Concept
Chevrolet has presented at New York its new Concept, the Beat, being its most completely package. It seems to be the only one with a full interior and a complete running power train. The interior has cloth upholstered seats and cloth covered dashboard, the cargo area has a subwoofer that pops up out of the floor and the gauges are housed in a free standing pod.
The Beat has a 1.2 litre engine, with a turbocharger and rolls on 17 inch wheels; made under the direction of Dave Lyons, head of General Motors in Asia Pacific, although he was designed in Korea.
