Fisker Karma Future Supercar

One of the most pleasant surprises at the Detroit Auto Show was the presentation of the newest model Fisker Karma, first car that combines luxury with real ecological aspects.
Fisker Karma is the first series model from Fisker Automotive, founded by Henrik Fisker. The company wants to produce only premium ecological cars, with performance technology from this domain.
First product is already done and it obtained many positive reactions, first of all, because of the design. This is perfectly elaborate for a premium car, supersport and it looks like a four doors coupe, that it is the new trend.

The interior is made with high-tech innovations, with digital indicators and touch sensor accessories.

Fisker Karma Future Supercar

Fisker has an electric engine, fueled with batteries and a small engine with internal combustion. The classical engine is used to reload batteries, being used directly to the propulsion, when the driver ask for it.

The technology is developed by Quantum Technologies especially for Fisker Automotive and permits, for Karma model, 80 km autonomy, only with the electric engine in function.
When the driver wants to drive faster, with stronger accelerations, both engines offer power to the wheels and the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds. The top speed reached by Karma is of 200 km/h.
The car will be commercialized starting with the end of 2009, first 99 cars being numbered and signed by Henrik Fisker, company’s founder.
