I wish I’ve bought- Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi
The series regarding the cars I wish I’ve bought which started with Lancia Delta Integrale, continues today with Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi.
Why Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi?
Well, I’ve always liked Peugeot, and I think the 205 1.9 GTi can make an ideal beginner’s track day weapon if I tune a little bit the engine, if I strip out the rear seats and I fit a roll cage. But is not like this, because it is on a B-road, so there this legend really comes alive. The 205 remains the hot hatch of choice for many people and it is still the definitive “Porsche chaser” from the ‘80’s. So, I think it is a good choice for the cars I wish I’ve bought.
