LA Motor Show Green photo gallery

Green concepts were the number one priority to this year LA Motor Show.
Honda presented the first true production fuel cell car, named FCX Clarity.
The Green Car of the Year was the Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, which is a 2.5 ton 7 seater V8 powered.
Porsche got all tree-huggy with a hybrid version of its Cayenne SUV. The mighty new GT2, despite being half the size actually guzzles even more fuel – 16mpg in town.

Cars like this and the mighty Lamborghini Reventon are produced in such tiny numbers and cover so few miles that their CO2 emissions are minimal and besides our streets would be very boring without the occasional bright red supercar or one that looks like a wingless stealth bomber.

The Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro is a precursor for next year’s Q5 SUV.
GM showed three concepts and asked the public which one should be built, and the winner was Chevrolet Beat.
A rather more interesting green GM effort was the Volt electric car concept.
Hyundai has always made some striking coupÃ©s and the Genesis concept points the way to the next generation.
