Mazda CX-7
Mazda is presenting its CX-7, the new SUV that will go on sale in September (in UK). They expect to sell 1,500 cars in first year, in UK. CX-7 is heavily oriented to a sport car in its styling and driving dynamics. It’s suspension have been altered for the European market, but this “new” CX-7 seems to be the same. Mazda CX-7 it’s powered by a 2.3 liter turbo charged 4 pots from the Mazda 3 MPS, developing 256 bhp and has a 6 speed manual box.
The power delivery curve is slightly broader than that of the MPS, with peak torque arriving at 5,000 rather than 5,500 rpm.
The model gets from 0 to 60 mph in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph. It seems that CX7 is an urban soft-roader and not a huge vehicle designed for the country side.
