New Maserati GT Sport

It looks like the aging GranTurismo S is going to be replaced by Maserati with a new Gran Turismo Sport, which Is due to be unveiled next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

This model is in fact the coupe version of the GranTurismo Convertible Sport, launched in 2011 that offers the same 450 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque 4.7-litre V8. Drive is sent strictly to the rear wheels via a ZF six-speed automatic transmission or an optional sequential manual unit with the same number of gears as the automatic. What Is more, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are available in both models.


A 0-60 mph acceleration in under 5.0 seconds and a top speed in excess of 177 mph are also going to individualise this new model. More, there are also going to be implanted aerodynamically-enhanced bumpers, revised headlights with LED detailing and darkened tail-lamp elements. As far as the interior is concerned, a new pair of seats and a sports steering wheel are to be fitted.
