Revealed- Maserati Edo MC12 Corsa
Wow! This was the first word when I’ve seen for the first time this amazing, mega Maserati. I know that all tuning companies (or maybe not quite all) set their sights on reasonably commonplace cars as a starting point for their aesthetic and mechanical excesses. It isn’t the same for the German tuning firm- Edo Competition, which decided that Maserati isn’t good enough, so they’ve decided to do an extra-job with MC12 Corsa, with only 12 pieces offered to customers.
Corsa is limited to track-use only, because it has a 6.0 litre V12 engine, with 745 hp and the standard roadgoing MC12 is with 623 hp and 546 lb/ft of torque. With just 1,150 kg, Edo decided that is enough for the power department and concentrated on fettling the suspension, braking systems and exhaust pipe. So, they have put a KW suspension system with fully adjustable compression and rebound damping settings, which allow for different ride characteristics for low and also high speed work.
The Corsa’s steel and carbon brakes are replaced by ceramic composite rotors, 14.2 inches in the rear, 15.6 inches up front, covered by forged lightweight wheels.
I can tell that it will sound amazing because of its bespoke stainless steel exhaust system, which exists through 4 inch tailpipes. Amazing, no?
