Subaru Legacy sport STI tuning

In Subaru’s range, there are few models which, a little esthetically help became a beast. It is the same for Legacy, tuned by STI. In the last time, all attention is made on Subaru and its new generation of Impreza and on first diesel engine boxer type, which the Japanese will present at the end of the year. Well, the tuning “in house” from Subaru, STI (Subaru Tecnica International) put our eyes to a new model that deserve a lot and it is about the Legacy, “admiral navy” of Nippon range.

STI prepared the 2008 version of a sporty kit on esthetically and technical branch, which will be available on Legacy range, as an option. The “Tuned by STI” stamp will be on the lateral parts of the Berlins model. In fact, STI made what they knew: make changes only to the powerful versions. This time we speak about Legacy B4 2.0 GT and about the equivalent Wagon version.

Let’s speak about the changes

The most important change is about the reprogramming the control unity of the engine to accelerate much linear. In plus, the suspension signed by Bilstein make their appearance, and together with Brembo brakes, with 18 inch rims and with STI exhaust pipes complete the Legacy esthetically offer. For the interior, STI uses a great combination between the black leather and brown Alcantara. The full price for the package is, in Japan, of € 25,300 and € 26,200 for Wagon, and the clients can ask for a 6 speed manual transmission or for a 5 speed automatic transmission. Everything is assembled with the symmetric integral transmission system, from Subaru.
