The Project Eagle from Lotus

Carsandtuning.org presents you some interesting spied photos with the new project from Lotus, called “Eagle”.
The Project Eagle will be the new Lotus flagship that will offer a step up in performance, luxury and status from the established Elise family. To achieve this it will need a serious power hike and given the firm’s existing relationship with Toyota the Japanese car maker’s highly regarded 3.5-liter V6 would seem ideal. Used in various Lexus cars, the all-aluminium Toyota engine features high tech dual fuel injection to produce 302 bhp and 277 lb/ft of torque. This kind of power in a lightweight Lotus chassis presents an enticing prospect and would give the Eagle a decisive advantage over direct rivals like the Farbio GTS, which uses the less powerful Ford Duratec V6.
