Top 5 Unique Ferrari



From the beginning I want to specify that this article is about expensive Ferraris at huge prices. It is truth that if you want a unique Ferrari you have to pay for it, no? And we all know that for Ferrari is a lot of super rich fans who have a special account to buy unique models of their “love”. Sometimes, those fans create their own unique Ferrari dream.

Let’s talk about 5 unique models:

Ferrari P4/5

Ferrari P4/5 is the most recent and the most spectacular unique Ferrari built for James Glickenhaus, an American Ferrari collector. Ferrari P4/5 is built after Ferrari 330 P3/4 from 60’s racing cars, but also uses details from Enzo.
The beautiful model was presented at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance and it was a great “sensation” for its fans with its phenomenal performance. Ferrari P4/5 was a result of Pininfarina’s work, with Ferrari’s agreement.
P4/5 is 200 kg lighter than Enzo, meaning it should be able to excel already quickly Enzo. The interior is amazing, including: improved air conditioning, a world wide GPS system, an iPod Nano stereo system and many other things.

Ferrari 612 Kappa

Ferrari 612 Kappa is one off interpretation of 612 Scaglietti and was realised for an American Ferrari fan, Peter S. Kalikow. He’s idea was to create a totally redone Ferrari based on a four seat GT. The owner wanted to make an extraordinary model, that’s why Kappa is recognize to have a very beautiful and unique touches.

What is telling speech about this car is the bonnet mounted scoop and the leading edge of which is emphatic by an aluminum bar. The front grille was modified and looks like a deeper and more attractive grille, the circular lights at the back are positioned higher in the style of Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari F430, which are great models! Look at this beauty to see great air outlets in the front wings, liquid crystal glass roof with photovoltaic cells and many amazing stuff!

Ferrari GG50

Ferrari GG50 was a desire of an Italian designer, Giorgetto Giugiaro who realised this to celebrate 50 years of work in car design. Great present, don’t you think? The same as Ferrari 612 Kappa, GG50 was produced after 612 Scaglietti. Giorgetto was able to create this unique Ferrari with the permission from Luca di Montezemolo, the President and CEO of Ferrari.

Ferrari GG50 is shorter than the 612, because is a hatchback. This is the only hatchback for Ferrari. This car uses a Ferrari paddle shift transmission, the lights are on the right hand side of the wheel and the parking brake is electric. This beautiful model was presented at Bridgestone’s headquarters in Japan at 2005 Tokyo show. Now, the Italian designer drives it on the streets of Turin.

Ferrari Zagato 575 GTZ

Ferrari Zagato 575 GTZ was made for a well know Japanese Ferrari fan, Yushiyuki Hayashi as an interpretation of an old Ferrari from 1956, the 250 GTZ Berlinetta. This old model was reincarnated in the 575 Maranello. This new model is built from aluminum by Zagato, it wears 2 tone paintwork and a roof area lighter silver shade in contrast to the dark metallic grey of the rest of the car.

It is a very good looking car built in the tradition of the old model. The interior is similar to the 575 Maranello. Ferrari Zagato 575 GTZ was presented at Villa d’Este Concours D’Elégance, in 2006.

Vandenbrink 599 GTO

Vandenbrink 599 GTO, although now is a unique model is intended to be built in 5 copy, because it already have 3 orders. This beautiful coupe is based on Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Vandenbrink 599 GTO is based on classic 1960 racers with a signature truncated Kamm tail, large front grille topped by 3 additional air inlets, gills located aft of the front wheel and bold rear wheel arches.

This model has a body made by aluminum and was built by a Dutch specialist and coach builder, Alwin Heitbrink, also known for his restoration of so many classic Ferraris.

After seeing all this models, we can only hope that many more will come!
