This is the dumbest thing i have ever heard! I watch speed tv every day and i see top fuel do the QM in 4 seconds almost every time. My point is that this is not even close to the fastest car in the world its just another tuner bringing on old car back. 0-60 in under a second COME ON!!!!!!!!! AND BY THE WAY WRITERS TO BE THE FASTEST CAR IN THE THE WORLD IT HAS TO BE STOCK!!!!!!!!!

Fastest production car is more of the category people are trying to create this facade over. That, it is not.

As previously stated by Glum, the term ‘worlds fastest car’ is totally erroneous. A Hyundai with a patriot missle stuck up its tail would probably take that title.

Given some of the fastest (and I mean fastest) funny cars make it down the 1/4 mile in a matter of 4 or so seconds, and at hundreds of miles an hour, they would classify as worlds fastest cars. Then there are jet cars. Still fast, but slower than the fastest drag.

As for worlds fastest street legal car; I imagine the road worthy laws of all countries are not the same, seeing as how we cannot even get nuclear proliferation right. Given that, some cars used on the strip may easily be suitable for road use in some countries.

‘Fastest UK street legal non production car at this time’ would have been a super title.

Tons of credit, though, is due to the person who makes this a daily driver! I cannot imagine the upkeep, forearms and nerves it would take. Much respect.

I would love to see GPS keep up with that thing though! Road trip!!!

that’s just dumb. it’s not the worlds fastest car. To be even considered that, it’d have to be stock. And just for the record, top fuel drag cars are 100X faster than this. Street legal in the UK maybe, but not anywhere else!

Its not the fastest, its the quickest accelerating. It can’t keep up with a Bugatti or any of the 220mph plus cars, it can just out accelerate them to 100mph. On a distance run it’d lose massively.

You’ll notice most supercars can’t do 1/4mile races in 10 seconds, but its easy to modify a standard car to do it, but try getting that standard car upto 250mph.

Still though, its a sweet car, i’m just surprised its legal since its engine is liable to explode at any time what with it using nitrous.
