The ZL1 Convertible Expected To Go On Sale In 2013-Photos

It seems that the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show from November will be the host of the magnificent unveiling of the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The vehicle, mechanically similar to that of the hard-top muscle-car version, is arguably one of the most powerful topless cars in the world. Like the coupe, the convertible will pack 580 horsepower and 556 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-litre LSA V8. Performance Traction Management as part of the Magnetic Selective Ride Control, which is exclusive to General Motors is also going to be one of the surprises offered by Camaro.

The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic (Gallery)

Lately we have all read and discussed a lot about the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic and are excited to know more about it. What it is for sure is that this model is absolutely unique and has nothing in common with the previous model from Chevrolet. The Chevrolet product marketing director, Margaret Brooks, sustained that this new car has its characteristics and unique features having “all-new architecture, all-new powertrain, all-new name.” According to Chevrolet, the word that defines our Chevrolet Sonic is definitely “Refinement”. The vehicle line director and chief engineer, Joaquin Nuno-Whelan,, sustained that the company set it to have the “right stiffness” so that the driver will have a “solid, quiet feel” as the car goes down the street. So, it is quite clear that the manufacturer designed the car in order to satisfy all the needs a driver may have.

Chevrolet Volt Concept

Since Chevrolet Volt concept jumped onto the stage at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, the single biggest question has been the battery. More specifically, could GM find a lithium ion battery that would provide 40 miles of range on a charge, last the whole life of the car and not rise the price into the stratosphere?

The Chevrolet Camaro Concept

The Camaro concept made its first appearance at the 2006 North American International Auto Show, with styling that wowed the crowd and the styling will not change all that much when the car goes into production. The fifth generation Camaro will be based very closely on the concept, which is powered by a 400 horsepower aliminum small block LS2 V8, has a T56 six speed manual transmission and 4 wheel independent suspension and equipped with a Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation technology to save fuel.

2010 Chevy Volt

GM has presented its intention to offer the Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle, by presenting it. This electric car will be on market since 2010. Chevrolet Volt will be offered with a T-shaped lithium-ion battery pack that after few hours will be able to run 40 miles without any other charge. This car fuel will not cost that much (at least GM said that) and to turn it on will be offered a small gasoline engine to generate enough electricity to drive it on a long journey.
The car will go from 0 to 100 km/h in about 9 seconds. The battery pack is where the “transmission tunnel” would be in a conventional rear-wheel- drive car, meaning that the batteries don’t take up cargo space as they do in many hybrid cars. Although it has a rounded front, the back end of the car has a sharp, angular shape. In the rear, where air flows together as it trails off from the vehicle, sharp angles help smooth air flow.

Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet will accomplish, next year every American dream, by creating a muscle car.
The American constructor, Chevrolet presented many years before the Camaro Concept, but it delayed with its series presentation, because Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger and Challenger are a real success.
It seems that in America many names that made history before started to be a real success in our days.
Chevrolet presented only two photos of the Camaro model, but it was enough for the fans to be happy. That because the new Camaro is almost the same with the concept and it looks amazing.
We have to wait to see what will be the Americans’ preferences, because Chevrolet has to compete with Ford and Dodge.
