The New 2012 Skoda Citigo


It is now widely known  that Volkswagen made a buzz by unveiling the new Up! minicar at the Frankfurt Motor Show from this year. On the other hand, few of us knew that the manufacturer was also working, in the same time, to produce a Skoda version of the Up!: this is the Skoda Citigo! The car is expected to be unveiled by the end of this year, while in the UK and the rest of European countries, fans and drivers will clearly be forced to wait until 2012. The car will be available on two models, in three-door and five-door versions and powered by two new, three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engines delivering 44kW/60PS and 55kW/75PS.

One million km with Skoda Octavia

A Romanian managed to stay more in the car than at home. We not hear too often the records of millions kilometers with a single car and a single owner. Here are, but as there are people who lead very much and have “courage” to keep the same car even when they reach one hundred thousand km.
A Romanian succeeded to make 1,000,000 km with a Skoda Octavia Tour, the car was bought 4 years now. New Skoda Fabia RS of 174 HP!

Skoda is preparing the best sport version of the range of Fabia. Those from Autocar know that the new Fabia RS model will no longer have a propellant turbodiesel, as was the first generation. The Czechs prepare for the new Fabia RS a propellant gas, 1.4 litres of TSI. An official from Autocar said the Skoda, the new RS model will have a 1.4 TSI engine, which can produce up to 174 HP, but officials have not yet taken a decision regarding the maximum engine power. This will be an engine that can deliver 174 HP, but it is possible that the maximum power with which the car will come on the market to be smaller. The truth is that Volkswagen already has a 1.4 TSI engine that delivers 170 HP on the Golf GT, so it is possible that the new Fabia RS to dispose exactly 170 HP.
New Skoda Fabia RS: Engine 174 HP! Skoda has dropped for the current generation at a diesel, as was the old Fabia RS. The first generation Fabia RS was equipped with turbo-diesel of 1.9 liters; set at a maximum power of 131 HP, maximum torque is 310 Nm. With this engine and a manual box with 6 steps, the first generation Fabia RS accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.6 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 204 km / h, but consume, on average, only 5 , 6 l/100 km.

Tuned Cars Video British Show
