The New Jaguar Concept Car- The C-X16

The new Jaguar C-X16, whose production concept was made officially last week, is now considered a real piece of art. The two-seat, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe built on an aluminium architecture is going to be unveiled next week at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Being 4445mm long, this Jaguar is definitely the smallest and is also going to appeal to many of us.

With a 3.0-litre V6 putting out 376 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, the C-X18 Jaguar is incredible small and powerful being perfect for the adrenaline lovers. A steering wheel-mounted button controls a “Push to Pass” hybrid system making the car more interesting.

The Jaguars design chief, Ian Callum, stated that “Jaguars have always been dramatically different. With the C-X16 we have moved the current award-winning design language on to the next generation, creating a car that is the very essence of future Jaguar performance.” So we can easily expect from now on to amazing new car models from Jaguar.

The pictures posted here can help you make an idea on how the car will really look like. The car is expected to go in stores in 2012 and cost almost £55,000. Even if at a first sight it is quite expensive, the sales are expected to rise seriously.
