The New Hyundai Genesis Coupe


The Genesis Coupe is Hyundai’s new model, designed to refresh the contenents of the sports car market. Altough it’s a sports car, it reminds us the power of a muscle car, but holds it’s true nature of a real sports car. There are two engines available, 210bhp 2.0-litre unit and a 303bhp 3.8-litre V6 and gets a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Hyundai Concept – leak

It is widely known that the public couldn’t wait for the concept’s Geneva Motor Show debut and consequently leaked pictures of the new Hyundai have leaked.

The crew from the Korean Car Blog managed to get their hands on this first official image of the i-oniq, the next interpretation of Hyundai’s “fluidic sculpture” design language. Coming in around 173 inches, the i-oniq is a little shorter than BMW 3 Series coupe, and is reportedly a serial hybrid, with a small displacement gasoline engine powering up a battery pack, with a pair of motors driving the rear wheels.

LA Motor Show Green photo gallery

Green concepts were the number one priority to this year LA Motor Show.
Honda presented the first true production fuel cell car, named FCX Clarity.
The Green Car of the Year was the Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, which is a 2.5 ton 7 seater V8 powered.
Porsche got all tree-huggy with a hybrid version of its Cayenne SUV. The mighty new GT2, despite being half the size actually guzzles even more fuel – 16mpg in town.

Hyundai HCD9 Talus Concept

Hyundai HCD9 Talus Concept was presented at Detroit Auto Show, in 2006 and it seems to be an extraordinary model. The car has a 2 door version, like the Infiniti FX45 and a sporty coupe “face”, like the Volkswagen Concept T. Talus is the 9th concept car from Hyundai California design studio. This model will have 9 inch DVD monitors for back seat passengers, power hatchback, wireless Web access, 22 inch wheel (monster wheels) and night vision. Amazing technology!
